What is a tool washout station and how does it work?

The Containment Pro® Washout Station is a portable, collapsible basin designed for cleaning paint, stucco, drywall, mortar, and concrete tools on the job site. Simply rinse your tools into the lined basin, add a scoop of polymer powder, and the grey water solidifies into a wet-sand consistency — ready for disposal in any standard trash can.

What's included with my order?

Each station comes with 12 custom-manufactured liners and a 5 lb bag of ultra-absorbent organic polymer powder, giving you everything you need to start cleaning up right out of the box.

Is the washout basin reusable?

Yes. The basin itself is fully reusable and built to last. The disposable liners make cleanup effortless — once the water solidifies, simply lift the liner out and toss it. Replacement liners and polymer powder are available separately.

Is this product EPA compliant?

Absolutely. The organic polymer powder neutralizes grey water on contact, preventing hazardous rinse water from entering storm drains or soil. It's an environmentally responsible solution that keeps your crew compliant on every job site.

Every liner is constructed from 2.7 MIL industrial-grade Eco-Plastic — thick enough to handle a full paint washout cycle without tearing, leaking, or losing shape under load. At 48" x 48" (122 cm x 122 cm) with a 45-gallon (170-liter) capacity, they're sized to handle a full day's worth of rinse water from paint, stucco, drywall mud, mortar, and concrete tools. Drop one in and it fits perfectly — no trimming or adjusting required.

How to Use

Place a fresh liner into the basin before each use. Rinse your tools directly into the lined basin, then add a scoop of polymer powder (sold separately) to solidify the grey water. Once it reaches a wet-sand consistency, lift the liner and dispose of it in any standard trash can. Clean, contained, and fully compliant — every single time.
